Ogden avenue improvements at halfway point

The contractor continues to maximize efforts as they are on schedule and have completed 50% of construction!
Recently, multiple water main connections were made at Ridgeland Avenue and Gunderson Avenue with over 600 feet of water main installed last week, that's as long as two football fields! The contractor also poured temporary concrete along southbound Gunderson Avenue. In the coming weeks, crews will continue to progress to the west along Ogden Avenue, installing new 12-inch ductile iron water main and replacing existing sewers where needed. As a reminder, the westbound right lane of Ogden Avenue will continue to be closed from East Avenue to Harlem Avenue. During this time, parking is prohibited at ALL times along Ogden Avenue from East Avenue to Harlem Avenue. Please refer to the map below. |
